India troublemaker
Whereas
foreign combat troops are preparing to leave Afghanistan, India helps in
providing military equipment.
Last week,
India decided to help paying for arms and others equipment coming from Russia,
to boost the strength of the Afghan National Army (ANA). This decision could be
a dramatic game changer in this region.
The United
States had rebuilt the ANA, spending billions of dollars in the past decade,
making it become like a powerful armed force with defensive rather than
offensive weapons.
Both the US
and India seemed to have been careful in not upsetting Pakistan.
An
agreement with Russia stipulates that India have to pay for Russian arms, such
as light artillery and mortars.
According
to a specialist, Afghanistan should be helped by restarting an old armaments
factory. The tensions between Pakistan and India are even more present than the
US finance and supervise operations.
However,
one country is able to play a stabilising or balancing role and that is China.
The Afghan president also asked China for military help, but Beijing doesn’t
really want to involved himself in this conflict.
Pakistan is
afraid that any heavy weapons arriving in Afghanistan could end up in the hands
of the Afghan and Pakistan Taliban.
Afghanistan
needs peace before it needs more weapons, and it needs bigger doses of
diplomacy and political dialogue to get the Taliban to stop fighting.
If that
could happen, rather than flooding it with weapons once again, Afghanistan
would be a happier place.
My opinion
: I think countries shouldn’t have fight, they have to coordinate each other
for a best living life, because that is the method to generate peace, and
finally a better living and economical life.
L’Inde perturbatrice
Alors que les forces armées étrangères se préparent à
abandonner le terrain, l’Inde s’approvisionne en équipement militaire.
La semaine dernière, l’Inde a décidé d’aider à financer les
armes et d’autres équipements venant de Russie, pour booster la force de
l’armée nationale afghane (ANA). Cette décision pourrait être le déclencheur d’un
changement de jeu dramatique dans cette région.
Les Etats-Unis ont reconstitué l’ANA, dépensant des millions
de dollars cette dernière décennie, la transformant en une puissante force
armée, avec autant de points défensifs qu’attaquants.
Les Etas Unis et l’Inde ont tous deux sembler avoir été
prudent quand à ne pas contrarier le Pakistan.
Un accord avec la Russie stipule que l’Inde doit payer pour
les armes d’origine Russe, comme l’artillerie légère et les mortiers.
D’après un spécialiste, l’Afghanistan devrait être aidé
quand à restaurer une ancienne usine d’armement. Les tensions entre le Pakistan
et l’Inde sont d’autant plus présentes que les Etats Unis finance et supervise
les opérations.
Cependant, un seul pays est capable de jouer un rôle stabilisant.
Ce pays est la Chine. Le président Afghan a aussi demandé à la Chine l’aide
militaire, mais Beijing ne veut pas vraiment être impliqué dans ce conflit.
L’Afghanistan a besoin de paix avant qu’il n’ai besoin de
plus d’armes, et il a besoin de plus de diplomatie et de dialogue politique
pour empêcher les Taliban de combattre.
Si cela pouvait arriver, plutôt que de résoudre cela avec des
armes encore une fois, l’Afghanistan serait un endroit plus sûr.
Mon opinion : Je pense que les pays ne devraient pas se
battre, ils doivent tout faire pour s’entendre pour une meilleure condition de
vie, parce que c’est la méthode pour engendrer la paix, et finalement de
meilleures conditions de vie et une meilleure vie économique.
