Y a-t-il un pilote dans l’avion ?
Le 25 mars dernier, les licences de 14 pilotes ont été révoquées par les autorités de l’aviation indienne, car c’est derniers était accusés de voler avec de faux certificats.
Une enquête de police aurait constaté qu'un club d’aviation du nord du Rajasthan a publié "des faux rapports" sur leurs sessions de formation, selon le responsable de l'aviation civile, Bharat Bhushan, interviewé par la BBC.
Au début du mois les licences de sept pilotes avaient déjà été annulées à cause de ces faux certificats, c’est pourquoi les licences de 4000 pilotes sont actuellement vérifiées pour des irrégularités.
Il y a déjà eu une série de scandales impliquant des pilotes de compagnie aérienne indiennes récemment, bien que le pays soit relativement bien noté en matière de sécurité aérienne.
Au début du mois les autorités avaient annoncé qu’elles agiraient contre 57 pilotes qui auraient piloté en état d’ivresse. A la même période, d’autres rapports avaient été publiés, faisant état de problèmes tels que des pilotes s’endormant en vol ou se battant avec l’équipage.
D’après la BBC à Delhi, la forte croissance dans le secteur aérien en Inde serait à l’origine d’un nouveau défi pour les autorités, qui doivent de ce fait repenser la réglementation.
L'Inde a maintenant le quatrième plus grand nombre de vols intérieurs après les Etats-Unis, la Chine qui a elle aussi été confrontée a ce type de problèmes et le Japon.
Opinion : bien que l’avion reste le moyen de transport le plus sûr, il est évident que le contrôle des pilotes est primordial compte tenu du fait que la moitié des accidents sont dus a une erreur de la part du pilote..

On March 25, the licenses of 14 pilots were revoked by the authorities of the Indian aviation for flying with false certificates.

According to the BBC in Delhi, the strong growth in the air sector would be at the origin of a new challenge for the authorities, which have then to rethink the regulations.
India has now the fourth largest number of internal flights after United States, China which also has this type of problems and Japan.
Opinion : although the plane remains the safest means of transportation, it is evident that the control of the pilots is essential considering the fact that half the accidents are due to an error of the pilot.
